Pairidaēza
Dans une très ancienne langue perse, le mot pairidaēza » » désignait un jardin d’agrément… Il paraît que Cyrus le Grand, roi de Perse ordonnait qu’il y en ait partout où le menaient ses voyages. Bien des années plus tard, les linguistes trouvèrent le lien entre « Pairidaeza » et « paradis ».
